Down and Outs Research/Choreography

In our dance for Bugsy we played the part of poor children who work in a soup kitchen. Here is the video from the film: 

As you can see, they do a lot of marching so we wanted to incorporate this into our dance. We also created a set of motifs to represent being in a soup kitchen. We did this by using out hands to look like we were holding soup bowls.
